Bring your Stocky purchase orders and costs over by CSV, check every row before anything saves, and export everything again whenever you like. Then Posto tells you what to reorder, emails the order to your supplier, and works out what each unit really cost.
Compare every Stocky alternative, honestlyStart 30 days freeStocky was Shopify's own purchase order and forecasting app, included with Shopify POS Pro. Shopify pulled it from the App Store on February 2, 2026, and switched it off on August 31, 2026.
You can still export your reports as CSV files for at least 90 days after August 31, so the window closes in late November at the earliest. Shopify's admin can create and receive purchase orders, and Sidekick can suggest reorders when you ask, but Shopify can't import your Stocky purchase order history or email orders to your suppliers.
Dates from Shopify's help center and community forum. We'll keep this page current as the export window changes.
Drop in Stocky's purchase order exports, or a ZIP of them. Posto rebuilds your suppliers, which products each one sells with its latest cost, and your order history, and shows you everything before saving.
Upload your Stocky cost export. Posto matches each SKU to a product in your store and shows you the result before saving. Anything it can't match is listed and skipped, never guessed.
Add any supplier emails and minimums the files didn't include, and pick a main supplier for products you buy from more than one. Once a supplier has 3 past deliveries, Posto measures how long they really take. Importing never changes your Shopify stock.
You don't have to bring everything over on day one. Posto's first forecast runs from your Shopify sales as soon as you install. Start with your Stocky purchase order export, or a short spreadsheet of suppliers (name, email, and lead time is enough), and add the rest whenever you're ready.
Stocky came with Shopify POS Pro, which costs $89 a month per location. Posto doesn't need POS Pro. It's free for 1 supplier and up to 50 products, $19 a month for up to 5 suppliers, and $39 for unlimited, with every feature on every plan and no contract.
Not quite. You drop in Stocky's export files and check a preview before anything saves. Posto rebuilds your suppliers from your purchase orders, but you may need to add emails and minimums the files don't include.
Posto doesn't print price or barcode labels, scan barcodes, run stock counts, or move stock between locations. For labels, Shopify's free Retail Barcode Labels app prints them from your product list, and stock counts can be run in the Shopify admin. If labels and counts were most of what you used Stocky for, our Stocky alternatives comparison covers apps that do them.
No. Importing never changes your stock. Posto only changes inventory when you record stock received on a purchase order. If an imported order was still open, you can receive it when it arrives, and only the units that hadn't arrived yet are added.
Yes. Posto reads stock across all your locations, including POS locations, and you choose which location to receive each order into. Forecasts are store-wide, not per location.
Posto forecasts from your Shopify sales, which don't depend on Stocky. You'd add suppliers and costs from a spreadsheet and start fresh on purchase order history.
Yes, anytime. Posto exports everything it stores as one zip of spreadsheets, with a README that explains each file, and the supplier, cost, and purchase order files import straight back in. You won't be locked in again.
Install Posto, bring your suppliers and costs over, and send your first purchase order. 30 days free, everything unlocked, no payment details.
