Posto reads what it needs from your Shopify store to forecast demand and manage purchase orders. It never reads your customers' names, email addresses, shipping addresses, or payment details. We don't sell data, and we don't use it for advertising.
Posto is a Shopify app operated by [Company legal name] ("Posto," "we," "us"). You can reach us at support@meetposto.com.
Posto does not read customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, shipping addresses, or payment details.
Only to run Posto for you: to forecast demand, recommend what to reorder, create and email purchase orders, record deliveries, work out landed cost, and update inventory counts and, if you turn it on, cost per item in Shopify. We also use it to support you and to keep Posto secure and working.
We use a small number of service providers to run Posto:
[Confirm the data regions for Railway and Supabase, and add them here.]
Our website assistant answers questions using Anthropic's Claude. Questions you type are sent to Anthropic to generate an answer. We keep them for up to 90 days to improve our site, with email addresses, phone numbers, and links removed, and we don't store IP addresses. Please don't include personal details.
We keep your store's data while Posto is installed. When you uninstall, Posto deletes your store's data about 48 hours later. We keep only a scrambled marker showing that your store has used its free trial.
Data is encrypted in transit, and access is limited to what's needed to run and support Posto. [Confirm encryption at rest and any other safeguards to list.]
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top and, for meaningful changes, let you know in the app or by email.
