Weeks of supply = stock on hand ÷ average weekly sales
With 120 units on hand and average sales of 30 a week, you have 4 weeks of supply. Compare it with your supplier's lead time: if the lead time is longer than your weeks of supply, you're already late to reorder.
It's the weekly version of days of cover.
